Catteam joins with Malaysian NGO (Tenaganita) in transnational fight against human and animal trafficking.
The worldwide mission of CATTEAM is to, identify and document evidence against the person(s) and criminal organizations engaged in the illicit and illegal trade of endangered species of animals and their parts and the trafficking of human beings for the sole purpose of monetary gain. These persons(s)/entities are in violation of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) act and numerous International laws against violation of basic human rights.
Once identified and indicted, our goal is to effectively disrupt this trade and intervene on behalf of these endangered species and fellow human beings and assist prosecutorial authorities in locating, apprehending and extraditing these criminal elements to the country of jurisdiction to be brought before the courts of prosecuting authority and answer for these heinously cruel criminal acts.
Finally, it is also the intent of this group to expose the heinous and cruel criminal acts of these individuals and organizations to national and worldwide public scrutiny in furtherance and recognition of the plight facing both these endangered species and unfortunate human beings in the hopes that public and worldwide sentiment may be fostered to forever end these crimes against the endangered and defenseless co-inhabitant species of our world, whether human or animal in nature.
